UIA Architecture & Children Golden Cubes Awards

The International Union of Architects (UIA) and its Work Programme Architecture & Children decided with an internationl jury in April about the winners of their newly established "UIA Architecture & Children Golden Cubes Awards".
The awards honour people and organizations that help children and young people to understand architecture in the categories Schools, Institution, Print-Media and Audio-Visuell Media. The following winners have been announced:
"Network for Architecture - Methods, Materials, CPD", Germany
Continuing Education for teachers, workgroup of interested teachers, initiated by the Chamber of Architects in Bavaria and the Bavarian Ministry of tution and culture
"50 activities to discover architecture and urbanism", CAUE, France
"LivingRoom", G. Weber and P. Zimmermann, Switzerland
- Category Audio-Visual Media
"Architecture Series 1 - Workplaces", G. Nivoix + CRDP, France
