Those are lucky who can take part in an architectural project at their school. Many pupils haven't yet had that chance. Since the architects’ chambers themselves can only initiate a limited number of projects, they try to increase the public interest for architecture at schools with selected public activities. Several chambers have launched exhibitions. In Berlin, the annual exhibition “da!” presents works of Berlin architects and also results of school projects.

On the occasion of the construction of the new House of Architects at the media port in Düsseldorf, the architects’ chamber of North Rhine Westphalia announced a drawing competition for primary school pupils. The entries for the competition have been exhibited at the hoarding of the building site for almost 18 months .  

In addition, BAK and the architects’ chambers of the Länder invite to conferences, seminars and discussions more or less frequently.
